Phi Beta Iota: Liquid Democracy's Achilles' heel is the degree to which its users are a) connected, b) educated, and c) engaged. It has enormous potential and can be implemented in face to face offline town hall and discussion network scenarios. It offers the possibility of by-passing politicians entirely — eliminating the political class. Liquid Democracy would be considerably enhanced if holistic analytics, true cost economics, and open source everything engineering were possible and manifest in an Open Source Agency, United Nations Open Source Decision Support Information Network, a Multinational Decision Support Center easily replicated down to the zip code level, a School of Future Oriented Hybrid Governance, and a World Brain Institute with a Global Game that has true cost economic information embedded for every policy, product, service, and behavior.
